Mid-Cities Arlington Swimming and The City of Arlington Parks and Recreation Department are hosting a Make a Splash Day on May 8th at The Allen Bolden Pool at Vandergrif Park from 1PM to 5PM.  The initiative reaches out to underprivileged children and families in our community in an effort to educate them on the importance of proper swim instruction and water safety. There will be free swim lessons, parent water safety education, and fun booths hosted by local sponsors such as The Arlington Fire Department, Elzie Odom Jump House, Starbucks and Mary Kay to name a few.
